Abstract

Digital tools can bring to rethink radically the models of museum use, thanks
to the possibility of enriching the collections that can generate new experiences
for the public. The case study of the Treasury of Sant Eufemia, a group
of vintage gold hellenistic jewels, found fortuitously in Calabria towards the
late nineteenth century and now preserved in the British Museum in London,
has experienced a process of three-dimensional reconstruction through the
processing of images usually available only in the storage area of the museum.
